Customs Supervisor
Reporting to the Customs Manager, the Customs Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Customs Branch Manager in overseeing key aspects of day-to-day operations and developing and maintaining existing processes and procedures. The Supervisor will also provide guidance to operational staff to ensure the branch is achieving operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Industry-related studies (CCS, CTSC or professional status)
- Minimum 5 years of continuous full-time experience as a customs rater
- Knowledge and experience in problem reporting and analysis
- Strong background in customs brokerage procedures and processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Computer literacy
- High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- Ability to attend and conduct meetings if required (clients, staff, etc.)
