Customs Supervisor

Reporting to the Customs Manager, the Customs Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Customs Branch Manager in overseeing key aspects of day-to-day operations and developing and maintaining existing processes and procedures. The Supervisor will also provide guidance to operational staff to ensure the branch is achieving operational goals.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Industry-related studies (CCS, CTSC or professional status)
  • Minimum 5 years of continuous full-time experience as a customs rater
  • Knowledge and experience in problem reporting and analysis
  • Strong background in customs brokerage procedures and processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability
  • Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
  • Ability to attend and conduct meetings if required (clients, staff, etc.)
