What You'll Do
- Identify and qualify potential customers, leveraging research, cold calling, and inbound leads to grow your portfolio
- Conduct needs analysis, provide customized consultations, and create tailored logistics solutions for customers
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, including product demonstrations
- Negotiate contracts, quote competitive pricing, and handle customer onboarding
- Build a network of referrals and long-term client relationships, keeping a full sales pipeline
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient processing of customer transactions
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and new services to continuously improve your sales approach
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings to promote Cole International
- Exceed sales quotas while maintaining a professional, solutions-oriented approach
- Track and update client information using CRM software, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of sales experience, ideally within logistics, customs brokerage, or freight forwarding
- A proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding quotas
- Strong communication skills and a talent for building relationships with key decision-makers
- Self-motivation, high energy, and a drive to succeed
- Knowledge of CRM software and ability to manage multiple client accounts
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and negotiate effectively
- A college diploma or a combination of education and experience in a related field
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, trade shows, or events
